Granactive Retinoid is the latest, state-of-the-art innovation in the most recognised group of anti-wrinkle agents called retinoids.

For decades, dermatologists and professional cosmeticians have considered retinoids, or vitamin A derivatives, to be state-of-the-art anti-wrinkle agents. Active substances have several effects at the same time. They restore firmness in collagen-deficient skin, including skin exposed to sunlight, improve skin texture and has a wrinkle-smoothing impact. They also help reduce and eliminate hyperpigmentation. Regular use also reduces the effect of UV light and hyperpigmentation caused by acne scarring. Retinoids can also help fight the appearance of blemishes by promoting cell renewal.

Granactive retinoid is an effective active ingredient against acne. However, it has been found that some retinoids can irritate sensitive skin; therefore, the goal was to develop a formula using active ingredients that are as effective as possible with the least amount of irritation.

The needs of our skin may be different, requiring different percentages of retinoid serum appropriate for each skin type. Therefore, we recommend starting with the lowest percentage of active ingredient content and gradually proceeding to the higher percentage. Common symptoms associated with retinol include peeling, redness, irritation, and dryness. On the plus side, irritation due to retinol can usually occur within the first 1-2 weeks of use, after which the irritation disappears naturally as the skin becomes accustomed. Of course, the treatment remains effective even after the irritation has resolved on its own.
